Mark Timms used to try to scam real estate!
Posted by Smartie on November 8, 2007Back in mid 2006, Mark Timms tried selling real estate. He’s not very good at it and has been foreclosed on more than once.
So he turned to an MLM style of selling via a shonky website, and then spammed his idea all over the place. Yes, the same method of selling something that he then used to promote MyBowlAd. Not terribly imaginative, is he?
Bollox, a marvellous person on VoteForTheWorst and helping me with this long running saga, who actually DOES know law, commented on this revelation:
Wait…didn’t Mark Timms tell us about 40 pages or so back that “he knows law?”
If he did, and had spoken to a few actual licensed real estate brokers working for one of the many national real estate agencies, he would learn that properties listed through any of the well-known and recognized real estate brokerages wouldn’t be allowed to do this. It’s duplicative, as most brokerages have links on their sites with their listings.
And since we know Mark Timms is nothing if he’s not responsible and proactive, those agents would have so much fun getting phone calls from buyers signed with other agents asking to view properties that closed months before.

There he is, using his MyBowlAd MySpace account to spam his real estate scam.
Both sites he registered he has since allowed to expire, and domain squatters have them.
Mark Timms still claims to be selling real estate, according to his MySpace profile. Takes money to buy and sell houses. So, Mark, if you can afford to do that, you can afford to pay me my prize I won.
